Note to "Just Wondering"

My bad: ‘Barry in DC”. [my italics]

Not to be too pedantic, JW, but I’ve tried to remove “bitch” from my vocab.
The motto of the United States Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia, is “Follow me”. That is, “lead from the front”.
Not from resort beaches.
If one believes in a “just war”, then take up the gun, do your own killing, expose yourself to death.
Don’t lead from the rear.
Peace on earth.

The President is not "leading from a resort beach." He is entitled to a vacation like everyone else. One of his past homes is Hawaii and he had relatives there.
We all thought you would welcome Obama. Seems you like no one.
Peace on Earth.
Come on, HH. I understand you disapprove of the war, and I respect that; but even you can't seriously mean the President of the United States should be on the front line of the action.
Putting our new young President aside for the moment, do you really believe that FDR should have been slogging through the jungles or storming the beaches? And in case you're tempted to exempt FDR on a technicality, let's assume, arguendo, he was physically fit.
Just trying to keep it real, HH.
Peace to you, my brother.
Amen to the above two comments.
