Palin Abused Rape Victims
Today is Saturday, 13 September 2008.
“Officer, I’ve been raped”.
“OK. It’s a $500 minimum, cash up front, for the rape kit.”
“What?”
“Mayor Palin’s rule.”
As mayor of Wasilla, Sarah Palin eliminated public funding of medical examinations of women who reported to the authorities they had been raped.
Cash or insurance was the order of the day.

As an added plus, she believes that if the rape victim is impregnanted, that victim should not be able to get an abortion.
To quote a recent McCain ad: "How disrespectful."
Especially considering the growing belief among fundamentalists that contraception is, in and of itself, abortion: Interesting take re this on AmericaBlog:
Did Palin consider "rape kits" a form of abortion?
Cain't spel: meant impregnated, not impregnanted (probably got the idea across, though)
