That War, At 35
Today is Friday, 30 April 2010.
On this date in 1975, the Indochina Wars "ended".
However, wars cannot be ended, only never begun.
35 years, and I'm not sure how to grieve, nor make amends. Yes, I was a draft resister, and did my tiny part to halt the killings of 6,000,000 plus, and failed. And, payed taxes, that funded the killings.
So, herewith, an ironic Euro-Centric mourning.
"When will we ever learn?"
