In Memory of John Enis

It is with great sorrow that the Museum of the Bourgeois records the passing of Mr. John Enis, retired professor of piano at Oklahoma State University.

John was a talented musician, a sensitive accompanist, and a perceptive vocal coach. He will also be remembered as a teacher who cared deeply about his students, in whom his gifts will continue to live. He had a charming, wicked sense of humor. He will be missed by many, including your author.

Rest in peace.

I was privileged that he was my accompanist for many events, and the teacher of others who accompanied me. What a consummate gentleman!
