yet another poem for Lyntl
Today remains Friday, 22 april 2010.
"How quiet it is around the house today. "
The three surviving dogs
Know their sister is gone,
They are grieving also,
Great mournful eyes,
Lean their sweet heads against me,
And walk, with such quiet,
Kitty-cat toes
to honour her.
"How quiet it is around the house today. "
The three surviving dogs
Know their sister is gone,
They are grieving also,
Great mournful eyes,
Lean their sweet heads against me,
And walk, with such quiet,
Kitty-cat toes
to honour her.

My heart hurts for all of you, Lyntl's family. It's hard to say "Look at how lucky you were to have her for the time you did," "She'll live on in your memories" - true, knowing it doesn't help the hurt & loss.
I am so sorry. I have just started coming around here, so sad to see.
Thou'rt gone, the abyss of heaven
Hath swallowed up thy form; yet on my heart
Deeply hath sunk the lesson thou hast given,
And shall not soon depart.
