A Blow Against Bigotry
Today remains Wednesday, 4 August 2010.
Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker is commended for striking a blow against bigotry, ruling that California’s homophobic Prop. 8, banning gay marriage, is unconstitutional.
Such execrable laws are as repugnant as laws against inter-racial marriage and inter-religious marriage. They reek of Nazism.
When the appeal reaches the Supreme Court, let us devoutly hope that at least one of the five reactionaries thereon shows, at long last, decency, and votes to affirm.
