Get Some GRRRRR On!

Today is Friday, 3 December 2010.

When will many working class American whites pull their heads out?

They vote Repugnicant every time the Repugs shout “The coloreds are coming! The coloreds are coming!”, and then the Repugs repay them by doing everything they can to kill extended unemployment benefits for the working class, and everything they can to extend tax giveaways to the oh-so-awesomely-needy wealthiest 2%. (Repugs call the latter “responsible deficit reduction”.)

And the Repugs threaten to kill ALL legislation until the current Congressional session ends, if the butts of the 2% aren’t kissed.

How’s THIS changey-thing workin’ out for ya?

And when will Obama grow a spine? If the Repugs want to play scorched earth, burn them down first. Forget preening in front of the troops in Afghanistan: barnstorm the 50 and convince people that the interests of 98% must come first, and that the people must rise up and force the Repugs to grant tax relief only to those making $250,000 a year or less.

What a world, where Warren Buffet “gets it” and the people getting screwed don’t.

Let’s get some GRRRRR on!

Al Franken's Floor statement Friday re tax cuts and unemployment extensions - he asks, "What are we doing here?":
"Making tough choices means doing one thing and not another. And right now, we're faced with that choice. If we can't agree to help people like that carpenter by continuing emergency unemployment benefits, how can we live with ourselves? How can we think that we're doing our jobs? The choice before us is clear this holiday season-lend a hand to those who simply can't get by without the help, or give $100,000 in average tax cuts to people making over a million dollars. Where are our values? What are we doing here?"

Sorry... I meant "elected" not "eleted."

Elected Republicans are far too small, even collectively, to be Anti-Christ. Just run-of-the-mill greedheads, whose only "country" is power and profit. At least Judas had the decency to kill himself after his betrayal.
