Myron Floren

Today remains Saturday, 28 July 2007.

A friend seems to have dissed the profession of accordianship, and Myron Floren in particular.

I particularly take umbrage, given the recent dedication of the Myron Floren West Wing of Accordianionship at The Museum of the Bourgeois.

Thank you boys-a. Now what am I gonna do with all of these frickin champagne bubbles?

HH -

Your "friend" RTR is, obviously, a musical snob. It is his loss. I say, move on HH, ignoring his taunting, and continue to appreciate all that is eclectic.

The surface of a puddle is "obviously" wet. Pronouncing its depth without taking the opportunity to make a measurement might create the circumstance that created discomfort to Dr. Foster on his trip to Gloucester.

What would not be so obvious would be my enthusiastic participation in a Polka ensemble that has performed at Oktoberfest celebrations and such. As a resident of Wisconsin, I feel somewhat enabled to make remarks about the grand folk tradition of polka as well as making reference to cheese.

I believe that during our long-standing friend-ship, HH has developed some familiarity with both my musical tastes and sense of irony as I have with his.

Peace,
RtR
