Challenges

Today is Thursday, 29 January 2009.

On this date in 1939, Yeats died.

On this date in 1986, the ship Challenger exploded, due to managerial ambition.

Next day, in a class on Paleo-Archeology at The New School for Social Research, my teacher Jean, upon entering the room, said, "During the television coverage of the glib and great, I awaited the one who would say, "One can't make an omelette, without breaking eggs".

Does this mean, if there is a chance of failure, we should not try?
