Brown v. Board

Today is Sunday, 17 May 2009.

On this date in 1954, the Supreme Court of the United States, in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, 347 U.S. 483 (1954), found that de jure racial segregation in public schools violated the Constitution.

Unfortunately, tens of millions of white Americans remain enchained by fantasies of white racial superiority, and discrimination continues the work of slavery and segregation, doing its best to exploit and oppress Black Americans.

Many white Americans still cannot forgive Blacks for the crime of slavery.
