The Romney-Ryan ticket advocates continued bloated war-related spending.
Did either of them volunteer for the military service in which they profess to believe? Of course not.
In a perversion of Isaiah 6:8, they said, "Here I am. Send them."
Or, in the words of fellow service-refuser Dick Cheney, they "...had other priorities...than military service."
Would it have killed, as it were, Romney to delay his service in the missionary position in France to enlist and demand to be sent to fight in Indochina? Hardly. Would it have killed, as it were, Ryan had he postponed a sojourn in the family business to enlist? Unlikely.
For them, it would seem, military service is for suckers.
