Breaking "Eggs"

Today is Monday, 19 November 2012.
According to the current doctrine of the War Department of the United States Empire (USE), collateral damage is “Unintentional or incidental injury or damage to persons or objects that would not be lawful military targets in the circumstances ruling at the time.  Such damage is not unlawful so long as it is not excessive in light of the overall military advantage anticipated from the attack.”
Put truthfully:  how many dead babies, children, and elderly is one allowed to murder in cold blood in the pursuit of “overall military advantage”?  And who weighs the lives in the balance?
And what a charming, demonic euphemism is the term ”unintentional” here.  All our strikes are surgical.  Valid, but only if one is accustomed to doing open-heart surgery with a sword rather than a scalpel.
Both Hamas and Israel are doing surgery with missiles, which by their very nature are incapable of distinguishing between innocents and the guilty.  The righteousness of a cause does not grant one the right to slay innocents in its defense.
I’m waiting to hear:  “One can’t make omelets without breaking eggs.”
Collateral damage is a war crime and a crime against humanity.
