For What It's Worth

Today is Sunday, 24 October 2010.

In these final days before the election, it behooves us to recall that this date in 1929 was “Black Thursday”, when the first Great Stock Exchange Crash occurred, followed by “Black Monday” and “Black Tuesday”, which together signaled the beginning of the Great Depression.

For more than eight years, the economic policies of Republican presidents had ruled the roost, and look where it got us.

If need be, hold your nose, but vote Democratic.

“It’s time we stop, hey, what’s that sound?
Everybody look what’s goin’ down…”
