Dog News

Today is Wednesday, 30 December 2009.

Yes, dear readers, I'm a hard-line leftist. And ... I love Horowitz, and a certain sonata.

Our eldest dog is dying, 2-3 months until her heart fails, and this is one of the songs I sing to her, when I sit next to her on the dog couch, and sing her to sleep.

All Hail TTM!

Today is Tuesday, 29 December 2009.

The Museum of the Bourgeois and HH salute Tulsa TV Memories, on it's 11th anniversary. Created by Mike Ransom, whom I've known since HH was in 1st grade and Mike was in K. And salute to Gaye Brown, unindicted co-conspirator and Mike's spouse, Tulsa's favourite realtor and All Around Great Dame.

Mr. Ransom created the MoB site as a birthday present to HH.

"Loyal and true to our school".

Go, Cardinals!

Happy Anniversary, Friends!

Today remains Monday, 28 December 2009.

HH and The Museum of the Bourgeois extend most excellent congratulations to S and K. on their 29th wedding anniversary. May you enjoy at least 29 more.

Note to "Just Wondering"

Today is Monday, 28 December 2009.

My bad: ‘Barry in DC”. [my italics]

Not to be too pedantic, JW, but I’ve tried to remove “bitch” from my vocab.

The motto of the United States Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia, is “Follow me”. That is, “lead from the front”.

Not from resort beaches.

If one believes in a “just war”, then take up the gun, do your own killing, expose yourself to death.

Don’t lead from the rear.

Peace on earth.

Christmas Bombings: Compare and Contrast

Today is Friday, 25 December 2009.

While bombing Bad Guys, innocent civilians, and whomsoever in Indochina got in the way, Nixon enjoyed strolling the Pacific beaches of San Clemente.

Currently, “Barry from D C”, while bombing Bad Guys, innocent civilians, and whomsoever gets in the way in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, enjoys strolling the Pacific beaches of Hawaii.

Untitled - "World AIDS Day"

Today is Tuesday, 1 December 2009.

Today is World AIDS Day.

That my head were waters,
That my eyes were a fountain of tears,
That I might weep."

Also, in the "arts community", The Day Without Art, which explains the ambiguous title.

The Museum of the Bourgeois remembers particularly Joseph and Robert.
